"The Bar" at McKinney and Doyle,redefines what's old is new again and pays homage to Pawling's wonderful history. The expanded space was formally a Pharmacy owned for more than 40 years by Pawling’s beloved Pharmacist Vincent Moreno.
Our gorgeous solid mahogany and marble bar was hand made by local craftsman and creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere, where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy some local conversation. We offer all the classic cocktails from years gone by and a wonderful selection of new creations, all made with premium spirits and mixers, home made infusions, fresh fruits, berries and fragrant herbs. Wines from our award-winning list, ice cold micro-brews and of course lunch, appetizers and dinner are also available at the bar. The bar room itself features high top tables and a separate dining room in the rear surrounded by brick walls and a gorgeous copper ceiling.

Back in the days of prohibition when doctors prescribed whiskey for "medicinal purposes" prescriptions were hand crafted to order in an effort to make people feel better. Historically grown in South West France, Tannat is now the “national grape” of Uruguay.
This wine is fresh and rich with ripe black and red fruit, and a light underlying spice.

The palate is dominated by melon and citrus flavors and a crisp, zesty acidity that
keeps you coming back for more. The weight and fruit concentration from extended
maceration on the lees makes for a creamy, textured body.
